Two People Injured As Fire Rescue Helicopter Plummets To The Ground

On Monday, two people were hurt in a medical helicopter rescue crash, close to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Just prior to 9 a.m., one of the Broward Sheriff’s Office’s fire-rescue helicopters crashed close to Pompano Beach Airpark. The office noted that two people were injured. Their conditions and names haven’t been publicly released.

A recording posted online depicted flames coming from the middle part of the helicopter with a long plume of smoke following. The helicopter was then seen breaking into two parts as it started to spiral, falling to the ground.
