Longtime Host of “The Price Is Right,” Bob Barker, Dies At 99

The legendary game show host and animal rights activist, Bob Barker, has died.

His rep states that he passed away peacefully at his residence in L.A. on Saturday morning. It is reported that he died from natural causes.

Barker was the longtime host of “The Price Is Right,” but his career started after being discovered on a radio show.

In 1956, he started off hosting “Truth or Consequences. He hosted game shows and programs like “Dream Girl of ’67,” “Tattletales,” ‘Miss Universe,’ and most well-known, “The Price Is Right,” that he produced and hosted until 2007.

Barker was featured on several TV shows and movies throughout the years, including “The Nanny,” “Happy Gilmore,” “How I Met Your Mother,” and more.

He also experienced several health scares. He endured several battles with skin cancer and at least two falls that landed him in the hospital.

Bob was 99.
