Authorities say that while driving to an employment appointment with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, in Indiana, a woman was under the influence.
39-year-old Nicole Sniadecki, of Plymouth, Virginia, walked into a scheduled appointment, close to 9 a.m., to find out more information about getting a job with the department.
As she was talking to one officer, Captain Jeff Synder, he noticed that her speech was slurred, and he smelled alcohol on her breath.
Sniadecki confessed to being under the influence as she drove to the sheriff’s office. She stated that she had consumed alcohol earlier that morning.
A breathalyzer test showed that her blood-alcohol level was .158, close to two times the legal limit.
Sniadecki was taken to the Marshall County Jail for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Her bond was placed at $1,500.
