On Friday, at 6 a.m., Deion Sanders will have emergency surgery after a blood clot was discovered in his groin.
Sanders is said to have been dealing with health issues since he coached at Jackson State. Then, he experienced a blood clot in his leg and foot. He considered just removing his whole foot but had two toes removed instead.
In 2021, Sanders utilized a motorized wheelchair to move about after he suffered complications from foot surgery while coaching at Jackson State.
If his health issues don’t improve, Sanders may have to have his whole foot removed, after all.
