A man has been arrested and charged for the death of two men in Hallsville, Texas.
Officers responded to a call regarding shots being fired on Roberson Road. Upon their arrival they found 29 year old Keyan Jernigan and 49 year old Duane Jernigan lying on the ground unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds.
The caller told officers the suspect had fled the scene in a black Chevrolet Tahoe. The vehicle was spotted nearby by Harrison County police, where it led them on a police chase.
Authorities were able to stop the vehicle at Fredonia Street off Hwy 80 and arrest 26 year old Darius C. Gates.
Gates was charged with Capital murder of multiple persons, evading arrest or detention with a vehicle,
