Luka Doncic To Pay Funeral Expenses, Grief Counseling After Elementary School Shooting In Serbia

On Wednesday, a shooting occured at an elementary school in Belgrade, Serbia. Eight children and a security guard were killed.

Now, Dallas Mavericks player Luka Doncic has decided to assist during this tragic time. He has several family members that reside in the region.

Doncic has announced that he will pay the funeral expenses of those who were killed in the shooting. Additionally, he will pay for grief counselors to assist the classmates and the staff of those involved.

“I am heartbroken by the tragic school shooting in Serbia and the loss of lives, including those of innocent children. My thoughts are with the families and the entire community affected by this tragedy, ” Doncic tweeted.

“I am committed and I will continue to share updates and ways to support as details become available. #StandWithBelgrade,” Doncic added.
