Male Fatally Shot After Fight Occurred At Prom After Party

During the overnight hours, authorities in Fort Worth, Texas, responded to a shooting in the 3500 block of NW 27th Street.

When they arrived to the scene, they found a male who had been shot in the torso. The victim was transported to a medical facility but died from his injuries.

Investigators learned that a fight had broken out between the suspect and victim as an after prom party was taking place. The suspect then retrieved a firearm and shot it multiple times, hitting the victim at least one time. He then fled the scene.

The victim hasn’t been publicly named at this time.
