Amber Alert for 6-Year-Old Missing Tarrant County Boy is Now A Death Investigation

The case of the missing 6-year-old boy from Tarrant County is now a death investigation.

In a press conference on Thursday, the Everman Police Department announced the disheartening news that they believe little Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez is deceased.

There is no concrete evidence to support that he is dead, however, the lack of evidence showing that he is still alive is substantial. The developments in the case had law enforcement officers chasing down multiple false claims, none of which answered the question; Where is Noel?

The 6-year-old, who is diagnosed with several illnesses including chronic lung disease, has not been seen since November when he was spotted outside of the residence where he lived with his mother, step-father, and 6 siblings.

CPS was notified of the situation which subsequently led to law enforcement being notified. The mother, 37-year-old Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, was not cooperating with authorities and initially said Noel was in Mexico with his biological father. Through their investigation, detectives learned the biological father had never met his son and had no involvement in the case.

Two days later, Noel’s mother, stepfather, and siblings boarded an international flight to Turkey without him. An Amber alert was issued which was upgraded to a missing child endangerment case.

In the latest development, Everman Police were informed by distant family members that the mother said she sold Noel to a woman in a Fiesta Parking lot. Investigators, however, were unable to confirm this to be true.

Officials say they have since ruled the situation as a death investigation and are actively searching to locate the remains of the little boy.

The mother, Rodriguez-Singh and stepfather, Arshdeep Singh, who are believed to be in India, now have active felony warrants. They face second-degree charges of abandoning or endangering a child.
