Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Doesn’t Care About ‘Pleasing’ The U.S. Anymore

Reports show that several countries are going in the opposite direction of the U.S. dollar. Additionally, they are finding fault in each other for the huge economic problems that currently exist. Now, many world leaders are publicly speaking out about their dissatisfaction.

It has been shown that Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, has told his followers that he isn’t concerned about making the United States satisfied. He now desires something back for any concessions he gives to the U.S. government.

This modification could bring problems for the U.S.-Saudi partnership that has been essential in that area. Saudi is an important generator of oil and a major component of the Middle East. Thus, any conflicts with attitudes toward the U.S. could have negative implications in that area and elsewhere.

Before this, Prince Mohammed bin Salman talked about his indifference towards U.S. President Biden. He expressed that it didn’t matter if President Biden understood him and that the U.S. should only be concerned about themselves.

In the last couple of weeks, Saudi Arabia and other major generators of oil have announced that oil production will be dropped to 1.15 million barrels each day, starting in May. This could be very impactful as Saudi Arabia attempts to come up with a financial plan without the assistance of the U.S.
