Eric Holder, Nipsey Hussle’s killer, has been given a 60-year to life prison sentence. This comes months following his conviction of first-degree murder by a Los Angeles jury.
Holder was found guilty of killing Nipsey in 2019. Prosecutors had stated to the jury that Holder kicked Nipsey in the head after shooting him more than once. They added that it proved that the killing was personal.
Deputy DA John McKinney then told jurors that Holder told Nipsey, “You’re through.” The rapper then responded by saying, “You got me.”
As reported before, Holder shot two other people as he killed Nipsey. Holder was also convicted of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter, two counts of assault with a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Previously, Holder was attacked by inmates in county jail as he waited to be transferred to a courthouse. Holder sustained a wound to the back of the head and needed staples. This caused his trial to be delayed.
33-year-old Holder will be imprisoned until he reaches his 90s if he is permitted to be released at all.
