Early Sunday, gunfire rang out at a nightclub in Memphis, resulting in the death of one person and 10 others being wounded.
Memphis police have released pictures of three people of interest that they want to question. They say that one of those people may be in need of medical treatment.
By afternoon, on Sunday, five of the people that had been shot were still in critical condition. The other five people were released from the hospital.
Gunshots erupted at two different scenes; however, police believe that the incidents are connected.
At around 12:43 a.m., officers answered to a shooting at 1482 East Shelby Drive at the Live Lounge.
They then discovered two people who had been shot. They were transported to a medical facility. Five other victims were driven to the hospital in private vehicles in “non-critical” condition.
While looking into this matter, officers received information about another shooting on Shelby Dr. and Boeingshire Dr. When they arrived to this location, they found a male victim deceased on the scene. Three other victims were then taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities say that it isn’t known what happened before the shootings.
A search for the suspects and an investigation is continuing.
