Tulsa police arrested a 12 year old girl for the fatal stabbing of her 9 year old brother.
Around 11:43 p.m. on January 5, officers were called to a residence on the 1000 block of 64th Pl. S.
Upon arrival officers saw emergency crews performing cpr on a 9 year old male. He was rushed to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
During the investigation officers learned that while the parents were asleep they were awaken by their 12 year old daughter who said she had stabbed her brother.
Authorities arrested the 12 year old and she is current being held at the Family Center for Juvenile Justice.
This case is being handled by the Tulsa Police Child Crisis Unit.
