On December 19, around 9 p.m., Dallas police responded to a service call on the 4800 block of Bismark Drive.
Upon arrival officers located the victim, 38 year old Marktwon Daniell Hicks, suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Officers are investigating to determine a motive for the fatal stabbing. This investigation remains ongoing.
