Woman Shoots And Kills Two Mississippi Police Officers At A Motel 6 Before Killing Herself

Two Bay St. Louis police officers were fatally shot early Wednesday morning while responding to a disturbance call.

The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. when officers responded to a call at a Motel 6 on Hwy 90. Upon arrival they found a woman with a gun.

It was said that the woman began shooting at the officers striking both of them, before turning the gun on herself.

One of the officers and the woman were pronounced dead at the scene. The other officer was transported to a local hospital where he also died.

At this time no further information has been given. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is conducting an investigation and gathering evidence.
