Authorities have confirmed that the human remains found in a Boston apartment building this month are those of four infants.
On Monday November 28, the Boston police department released a statement saying the human remains found were those of two infant boys and girls. The cause of death is still pending. Authorities have no suspect(s) at this time.
According to reports, on November 17, authorities received a call to check a building on the 800 block of East Broadway.
Upon arrival they discovered what appeared to be human remains. They obtained a search warrant and returned to the building on the 18th, where they discovered more human remains inside a freezer.
Personnel from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner removed the remains. The autopsy results are still pending at this time to determine the cause of deaths.
The investigation still remains ongoing.
