Maryland Woman Stabbed To Death After Rolling Her Window Down To Give A Woman Holding A Baby Some Money
A woman was stabbed in the chest early Saturday morning after rolling her window down to give a woman holding a baby and a sign asking for help.
The incident happened around 12:30am Saturday morning when Jacquelyn Smith,52 and her family were driving through Johnston Square neighborhood and saw a woman holding a baby and a sign that said “Please help me feed my baby”.
Smith was sitting on the front passenger side of the vehicle and rolled her window down to hand the woman some money when an unidentified man approached the car to thank them before trying to take her wallet. The two struggled before he pulled out a knife and stabbed Smith in her chest.
Smith’s family rushed her to a nearby hospital where she later died due to her injuries.
The man and woman holding the sign fled the scene. The man was described as 6ft tall appeared to be in his 30’s and a goatee. The woman appeared to be in her 20’s about 5’4 and wearing a brown jacket.
