Fort Worth police are investigating after a 10 year old boy was shot during a drive by Monday night.
Around 8:20 p.m. officers responded to a shooting call on the 2800 block of Avenue I, near Rosedale Street. Upon arrival they found the child inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
He was transported to Cook Children’s Medical Center, where he is listed in good condition.
Officers said that an unknown suspect(s) drove by the home while the child was inside and opened fire. They fired multiple rounds before fleeing the scene.
At this time authorities have made no arrest. This investigation remains ongoing.
