Aiden Pleterski is a 23-year-old Canadian who calls himself the “Crypto King.” He has now had $2 million worth of assets seized. This comes after a lawsuit was filed, accusing him of defrauding investors.

She says that she had been holding the money for the education of her grandchildren.

The bankruptcy filing is one of the few options that investors could use to attempt to get their funds back.

Pleterski’s assets and bank accounts have been frozen.

Accusations against him state that Pleterski was renting a lakefront mansion in Burlington, Ontario. He had been paying $45,000 a month for it. He also purchased promotional articles about himself on sites like Forbe’s publication in Monaco and Daily Caller.

One of Pleterski’s lawyers says he believes that claims against him have been exaggerated. “Shockingly, it seems that nobody bothered to consider what would happen if the cryptocurrency market plummeted or whether Aiden, as a very young man, was qualified to handle these types of investments.”
