Famous Actor From “Diary Of A Wimpy Kid” Gets Life In Prison For Murdering His Mother

Canadian actor from “Diary of A Wimpy Kid” Ryan Grantham has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his mother.

On March 31, Barbara Waite was playing her piano in their home when Grantham shot her from behind.

Grantham pleaded guilty to killing his mother back in March 2020. He will be eligible for parole after serving 14 years.

According to prosecutors, he shot and killed his mother while she was playing piano at their home. The next day he allegedly loaded his car with three firearms, Molotov cocktails, ammunition, and camping supplies. He also had a map that had directions to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s home.

He planned to kill Prime Minister Justin Trudeau but instead turned his car around and planned to commit mass violence at the school he attended.

Instead of going through with these acts he drove to Vancouver police and admitted to killing his mother. He was charged with 2nd degree murder.

Grantham was dealing with untreated mental health challenges including a major depressive order, according to Chris Johnson, Grantham’s attorney.
