Gunman At Amarillo Texas Fair Shoots 3 People Before Being Shot By Deputies

At the Tri-State Fair and Rodeo in Amarillo Texas, a gunman shot three people, including two first responders, he was eventually shot and wounded by sheriff deputies.

On Monday, just before 11p.m. a man opened fire on off duty Potter County deputies in the fair in Amarillo. The deputies returned fire, wounding the gunman with injuries that were described as life-threatening.

The bystanders and first responders were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The identities of the victims and the gunman have not been released. The gunman’s mothers for the shooting were not disclosed.
