Dallas police are investigating after a 12 year old child was struck in a hit and run crash Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to a hit and run crash on Lake June Road and Amity Lane regarding a child being struck. When they arrived they found a 12 year old boy suffering.
He was transported to an area hospital where he was hospitalized with an ankle injury. His condition is unknown at this time.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid or call for help. Officers have not released a description of the suspect or the suspects vehicle.
This investigation remains ongoing.
