Dallas police are investigating after a man was shot while sitting in his vehicle with a passenger early Saturday morning.
Authorities responded to a shooting call on the 2300 block of Pacific Avenue. Upon arrival they were met by a 20 year old witness that was with the victim at the time of the shooting. They told officers that the victim had been shot and was still inside the vehicle.
First responders transported the victim, 27 year old Gustavo Lopez Estrada, to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
After speaking with the witness officers believe an unknown person driving a dark colored suv shot Estrada and fled the scene.
The motive and circumstances surrounding this shooting are still under investigation.
