Bride Quits Job After Only One Colleague Showed Up To Her Wedding

People quit their jobs for various reasons, including toxic work environments, no promotions, and more.

A woman in China, however, resigned from her job for a rather weird reason.

Reportedly, the woman invited 70 colleagues to her wedding. She was angry when only one co-worker showed up. She stated that she had invited all of her colleagues because she didn’t want them to be upset if she had only invited a few. The invites had gone out two months prior to her special day.

The woman’s mentee was the only co-worker who showed up to the wedding. As a result, the bride said that six tables worth of food had to be trashed, embarrassing her in front of her relatives.

The following day, she resigned from her place of employment.
