A 77 year old foster mother was found shot in her Miami home early Friday morning and the two children she cared for kidnapped.
According to witness reports the incident took place around 5am on Jackson Street when a man and woman pulled up to the woman’s home in a white sedan. They went inside the home shot the woman and fled the scene with two children ages 5 and 7.
The foster mother was taken to a nearby hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The children were found safe a few hours later with the biological mother Candi Johnson,34 near NW 87th Street and 11th Avenue. 
Miami polive have not yet confirmed if the mother was involved in the shooting and they are still searching for the male suspect. This investigation is still ongoing.
