A man was arrested after robbing a cell phone store in Los Angeles at gunpoint Sunday and accidentally dropping his keys.
The incident occurred around 2:20 p.m., at a Boost Mobile store located on the 4100 block of Centinela Avenue.
According to reports the suspect, Lawrence Bell,37, walked into the store with a black handgun, pointed it at two employees and demanded money. He then jumped over the counter and forced the two employees to the ground as he took cash from the registers.
He stole $500 before fleeing the store but dropped a set of keys on his way out.
Apparently he parked about a block away from the store and authorities found his clothes, cash taken from the store along with other items in the backseat.
Bell was later arrested not far from the store and charged with armed robbery. He is currently on parole and was wearing an ankle monitor at the time of the crime.
How dumb and stupid was that.
