Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Richardson Leaves One Person Dead

A motorcyclist was killed on US-75 in Richardson Thursday night.

Richardson Police Department responded to 9-1-1 calls of a crash near 900 S. Central Expressway around 11:00 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a crashed motorcycle and its fallen rider laying in the left lanes of northbound traffic.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Special Crash Investigations team is currently investigating the cause of the crash since no other vehicles appear to have been involved.

SCI is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to provide further information.
