A DART driver was arrested Tuesday night for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a disabled person.
Samson Lemma, 44, a DART contract driver, was taken into custody by Garland Police from his home in Wylie.
On June 6, officers learned that a 23-year-old woman, who has a diagnosed mental disability, was assaulted while being transported by DART
The driver, Lemma, picked up the victim from her Garland home to transport her to her workplace when he sexually assaulted her.
Based on the information received, officials obtained an arrest warrant for Lemma. He is currently in the Garland Detention Center without a bond.
This is an ongoing investigation. Detectives believe there may be other victims.
