Rapper HoneyKomb Brazy’s Grandparents Were Killed Because Of A Facebook Post, Authorities Say
It’s been more than a year since the grandparents of Rapper HoneyKomb Brazy were killed. Federal investigators think that their killings were because of a Facebook post from Rapper OMB Peezy, LeParis Dade.
Authorities say that Terrance Watkins and Jamarcus Chambers, who face murder charges, and Patrick Lewis, went to the grandparents’ residence. This occurred on February 17, 2021, in Mobile, Alabama, under the encouragement of Darrin Southall. He is said to be a drug kingpin.
Prosecutors say that Peezy, who associates with the couple’s grandson, posted something on Facebook that upset Watkins. This caused Watkins to feel “disrespected.” He decided to “hurt” Brazy, Nashon Jones, by causing harm to his family since Peezy was close to them. That is when a house fire killed Tony and Leila Lewis.
Federal agents had notified a Mobile detective that they had been privately recording the defendants for more than a year. This had been in relation to a drug investigation. They had audio of the suspects talking about the killings the day after it had occurred.
