According to reports a man was with his girlfriend, younger brother and sister when the incident occurred. They were meeting with someone they met on Craigslist to sale a cellphone. When they pulled up they didn’t see the person they were supposed to be meeting and that’s when two men flagged them down and attempted to rob them.
Authorities say the man was able to get away and drove to Lamar St where he got some help.
Victims told police the suspects then began shooting at the vehicle and shot the mans younger brother and sister in the backseat. The 15 year old brother was grazed by a bullet and the same bullet struck the 12 year old sister. The sister was transported to Children’s Medical Center and is in critical condition. The suspect fled the scene on foot. Police are investigating and looking over all evidence to track down the suspects.

  1. Sell, not sell.
“Sell” is a verb, an action, it requires conjugation: I sell, you sell, he sells.. I sold, you sold, and so on. “Sale” is a noun, it is not conjugated and usually would appear together with definite or undefinite article “the sale”, “a sale”.

I am not sure what school these journalists are going to these days but they surely don’t know how to use proper grammar.
