A woman unintentionally dropped her cell phone into a toilet inside of an outhouse. She then fell in after to trying to get it out.
The Brinnon Fire Department Chief Tim Manly stated that the woman was at the top of Mount Walker in the Olympic National Forest, in Washington, on Tuesday. They say that she was on the cell phone when it fell into the toilet.
The woman is said to have taken the toliet seat apart and utilized dog leashes to attempt and retrieve the phone. She then decided to use the dog leashes to tie herself off as she grabbed for it. She was unsuccessful and landed in the toilet headfirst.
The woman was by herself while she tried to get out for close to 10 to 15 minutes. Since she had her phone back, she called 911.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they dropped down blocks to stand on so that she could grab a harness. The woman was then pulled out. The fire department says that she didn’t suffer any injuries.
“She was washed down and strongly encouraged to seek medical attention after being exposed to human waste. However, she only wanted to leave,” said Manly.
