Clinton Stamper earns over $200,000, and is focused on keeping food costs low.
The 26 year old, seeks online deals to maintain his $5 meal budget.
He remembers his mother struggling to make ends meet. She could barely afford food. The Stamper family regularly ate meals from the dollar store.
Currently, Stamper earns $270,000 as a software engineer for Google, but he diligently manages every dollar coming in and going out.
In junior high and high school, he earned about $30,000 from side hustles. Stamper developed poor spending habits because he had not been exposed to that much money.
To solve this issue, he saved two months of living expenses for emergencies and began investing after college graduation.
Over half of stampers $15,382 monthly budget is allocated to investments. Stamper invests in a 401(k), traditional IRA, stocks, and cryptocurrency.
The next biggest expense is his 5 bedroom home in Austin, TX. It takes up under a quarter of his budget, while food and entertainment are only 3%.
Working for Google has its perks. Google pays for his phone and internet bills; assists with paying his gym membership, and covers his health insurance premiums. Stamper pays for dental and vision care.
