Two Brothers Saved Toddler from Thrown in Front of Their Truck

Two brothers, Penson and Anthony Brown, drove down the road when a Cleveland mother almost threw her toddler in front of their truck.

“As we drove down we saw like a lady, almost like at an angle positioning herself like she was about to throw the little boy in front of the truck.” Brown explained.

Penson stopped the truck and Brown rushed out of the vehicle towards the mother.

Penson began recording as soon as Brown left the vehicle.

Brown took the child to a security guard at a nearby learning center before police arrived.

The Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority Police Department (CMHA) has initiated a criminal investigation into this incident. CMHA Police Chief Andres Gonzalez will transfer their investigation over to a prosecutor.

The child’s grandfather arrived on the scene and police allowed him to take custody of his grandson.

Authorities believe the child’s mother was experiencing a mental crisis. Officers noted the mother grabbed the butt of an officer’s weapon. The officer was able to push her off and handcuff her.

The mother was taken to the hospital for crisis intervention.

“It’s shocking man,” said Lavell. “It would’ve messed my life up if I had taken that little boy’s life man, so I’m just glad God prevented everything.”

“God put me there,” said Brown. “I ain’t anything special. I’m just happy that he put me there and I acted on it. I would want somebody to do the same for my daughter if something like that was going on.”

The little boy’s grandmother reached out to the brothers to thank them for their heroic act.
