When questioned about rumors that he is writing a tell-all book about his romance with Jada Pinkett Smith, August Alsina stated that it is not true.
The musician became the center of attention after he stated that Will Smith allowed him to have a romantic relationship with his wife. Although at first Jada denied the accusations, she eventually confessed to having an “entanglement” with Alsina. This occurred when she was 44, and he was 23.
Jada said that Alsina wasn’t granted permission by Will, but that she and Will had been “separated amicably” when that occurred.
Now, Alsina has responded to claims that he will be writing a book about how things transpired.
“What would be the need to write a book about my supposed ‘sex life’ with ANYBODY, EVER, in life?..I’m just living my life, trying to create peace, from all the glass and broken pieces of hearts…,” he wrote on Instagram.
“…why would one look to make that ‘type’ of money, eating from the lowest of fruit, when God’s promise is GREAT HARVEST? …I’m God’s very own, so HE makes me RICH! Not just in spirit. Be Blessed,” he continued.
Alsina just recently put out a song in which he seems to refer to the romance. “Well, of course some shit is bound to go down when you tangled up with the world’s favorite,” he sang.
Last month, after Will Smith’s Oscar incident, Alsina posted a message. “Choose peace, trusting that life’s intricate puzzle pieces are all forming together for the greater good…”
