Authorities say that a man strangled a woman in an apartment complex in Lewisville, Texas, on Friday. Now, he is facing charges.
Police responded to a call about a person who was unresponsive at the Oak Forest Apartment complex. This occurred around 8:45 p.m. at 1531 South Texas 121 on March 18, stated the Lewisville Police Department.
They then discovered the body of Aiyah Ashanti Roseborough, 23, at the location.
On March 19, Dion Cortez Jones, 23, was apprehended without incident in relation to the killing of Roseborough.
Officials say that Jones eventually admitted to choking Roseborough after they had fought.
Jones is now jailed in Denton County. He has been charged with murder, and his bond was set at $500,000.
