Police were called out to IHOP in Lancaster off 35 and Beltline after two people were shot. Allegedly an altercation broke out with an employee, a man and woman and the employee was shot outside of IHOP. The man died on the scene and the woman was transported to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The suspect had turned himself in but police have not identified any names.
This investigation is still ongoing.
