On Thursday night, a woman was killed in Atlanta, Georgia, over a bowling ball. Now, police are searching for the shooter.
Close to 11 p.m., authorities were called to Metro Fun Center. They say 31-year-old Lakevia Jackson was at the location for a celebration for her best friend. She then got into a fight over a bowling ball. It was said that the suspect waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes before shooting Jackson as she was leaving. She suffered several gunshot wounds.
Jackson shares a 14-year-old son with Atlanta rapper Young Thug.
Police state that they are questioning a woman in relation to the incident although they haven’t named her a suspect.
Authorities say that they won’t be releasing information about the alleged suspect. However, they feel that an apprehension may be coming soon because of ballistic evidence, camera footage, and witness statements.
