Fort Gordon Army Sergeant Kills Girlfriend After She Laughs In His Face For Saying ‘I Love You’

On Valentine’s Day 2020, Anitra Gunn, 23, was discovered deceased in a wooded location in Crawford County, Georgia.

Testimony at trial claimed that the Fort Valley State University student was killed because she laughed at her boyfriend.

After the missing woman was found, her boyfriend, Fort Gordon Army Sergeant Demarcus Little, was apprehended and charged with her murder.

Text messages exchanged between the two showed that Gunn was attempting to break things off with Little. However, after Little attempted suicide, she still kept in contact with him.

On Friday, Little’s friend, Jaivon Abron, said that Little admitted to choking Gunn because she laughed in his face when he told her that he loved her. Little said he had blacked out and had hit her before that. He then put her body in the trunk of her car and drove it to the woods. He left the car there, not too far from where the couple had last been observed.

On Monday, Little was found guilty of felony murder and aggravated assault. He was sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole.

Even though he had knowledge of what happened, Abron didn’t go to the authorities. He claimed that Little had threatened him. Abron faces charges for tampering with evidence and making false statements to the police.
