A woman who was raised in North Texas is suing Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, claiming he is her father.

Documents note that the lawsuit was filed by Alexandra Davis, 25, in Dallas County. It accuses Jones of having an affair with her mother in the 1990s.

“Jones, forever, the deal-making entrepreneur that he is, decided to do what he always does, ‘make a deal to assure that he would not be publicly or privately identified,” the lawsuit states.

Additional documentation showed that her mother, Cynthia Davis Spencer, accepted continuous payments of financial support for not revealing her daughter’s parentage. She had met Jones while she worked as an airline ticket agent in Arkansas. Her mother was married at the time but later went through divorce proceedings. Then, it was determined that her then-husband was not Alexandra’s father.

Her mother then reached out to Jones to let him know that he was her daughter’s father.

Davis has requested that the court not bind her to the confidentiality guidelines of an agreement that was put into place when she was 1-year-old.

She also wants paternity to be established as she maintains her two trusts. The lawsuit states that these trusts were set up by Jones for her although he had denied he was the father. He had disclosed to Cynthia he that couldn’t have children.

Jones has been married to his wife Gene since 1963, and they have three children together.

The lawsuit added that Jones has been in communication with the girl’s mother but has never met Alexandra.

Now, the case is sealed, and a hearing is set for March 31.
