In the upcoming DC Comics animated feature movie, “DC League of Super-Pets,” Keanu Reeves will play the character of Batman.

Related to this week’s release of “The Batman,” Warner Bros. has put out a small trailer for the film.

In the teaser, an initial meeting between Reeves’ Batman and Ace, a dog voiced by Kevin Hart, is displayed. The movie is based on DC Comic’s Ace the Bat-Hound.

Previously, Warner Bros. had said that Reeves’ voice would be used in the film. However, this was the first time that they have announced that he would be the voice of Batman.

Three other people will have roles as Batman this year, in various features, as well. These include Robert Pattinson, Ben Affleck, and Michael Keaton.

Others that will be apart of the “DC League of Super-Pets” are Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, and Diego Luna.

Director/screenwriter Jared Stern discussed the threat that combines the Super-Pets for the first time in a movie.

“I wanted it to be a real threat that you felt lived up to, not just a goofy movie, but a real serious superhero threat. Also, one that uniquely can only be solved by a group of pets,” Stern said.

“DC League of Super-Pets” is planned to be released on May 20.
