Murderer Blows Kisses At Victim’s Family While Being Sentenced

6.2kviews

Last week, a Louisiana man was sentenced for killing a motel desk clerk and trying to kill a motel guest. He didn’t show that he was apologetic, at all.

However, Judge Amy McCartney had the final say.

On April 12, 2021, Lynda Palmer, 75, was killed, and Terry Dewayne Powell, 20, was given life in prison plus 50 years for the murder.

Palmer was working the night desk at Best Western Plus Desoto Inn & Suites in Mansfield when Powell killed her after taking money. He shot a motel guest and attempted to rob him, as well.

In January, Powell was found guilty of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, armed robbery, and attempted armed robbery.

As Powell was about to hear his sentence, he began to say things that weren’t so clear. When the judge requested that he stop talking, he continued. He was then thrown out of the courtroom.

But as the bailiffs proceeded to remove him, Powell glanced at Palmer’s relatives, smiled, and blew them kisses.

When he returned to the courtroom, the judge told him that his actions were “derogatory,” and “unacceptable.” She stated that “if you can’t stand silent, we will silence you.”

Duct tape could be seen on the bailiff’s desk.

  1. Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite
justification seemed to be on the net the easiest
thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely
get irked while people consider worries that they just don’t know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the
whole thing without having side effect , people could take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
