Jamaican Police Officer Smuggled Cocaine Into U.S., Hiding It Inside Of Her Private Area

Shelian Cherine Allen is a 42-year-old Jamaican police officer who has worked on the force for 18 years.

Allen has been accused of attempting to smuggle cocaine into the U.S. on her person and in her body in order to distribute.

Authorities say that Allen landed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on a plane from Montego Bay, Jamaica on February 3. She was then inspected by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

A package of cocaine was discovered inside of her vagina and a package of cocaine inside of both bra cups.

Allen also ingested 90 pellets of packaged cocaine which was found in her stomach. It was expelled from her body at a medical facility.

An estimated 1,350 grams of cocaine was located on or inside of her body when she arrived in the U.S.

Allen has been charged with importation of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute. She could get up to 40 years in prison for each offense.
