Deceased Woman’s Body Found In Wooded Area Positively Identified as Missing Fort Worth Woman Jocelyn Nunez

It has been confirmed that the deceased body Dallas police found in a wooded area Monday was missing Fort Worth woman, Jocelyn Nunez.

Nunez,31 was reported missing by family Friday after she went for a hike at the Cedar Ridge Nature Preserve in Cedar Hill and never returned.

Family and friends pinged her phone Sunday and searched the area but found nothing. On Monday her truck was found not far from the trail.

On Monday afternoon authorities searched Grady Niblo Park where her body was found in a wooded area.

The Dallas County Medical office was able to positively identify Nunez’s body Tuesday. Her cause of death has not been released at this time.

This investigation remains ongoing.
