A mother has been charged with murder after allegedly throwing her 3-year-old daughter into a bear pit.
The incident occurred at a zoo in Uzbekistan and was caught on camera footage. In the video, the mother can be seen picking the girl up and dropping her into the living area of ZuZu, the bear at the zoo.
ZuZu then went over to the child and sniffed her after she had fallen almost 16 feet.
Zookeepers were seen running into the enclosure and guiding ZuZu in the other direction of the child.
The bear never hurt the girl, but she did suffer a concussion and cuts.
Now, the mother could receive a 15-year prison sentence if she is found guilty of attempted murder.
