An Ohio woman has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole for murdering and dismembering Ryan Zimmerman.

Sarah Buzzard,30 was sentenced to life in prison on January 20 for the aggravated murder.

Apparently back in January of 2016 a passerby was walking in Grand Lake St. Mary’s State Park in Mercer County when they noticed skeletal remains.

They contacted police who arrived and realized the victim had been dismembered from the neck, the arms and at the legs.

The head, the arms below the elbows, or the legs below the knees were never recovered.

In June of 2020 the partial remains were identified as Ryan Zimmerman,21 who had been reported missing by family.

Zimmerman apparently told family he was moving with friends to Ohio and last spoke to him on September 25,2015.

On August 25,2021 authorities arrested Buzzard and later tried to arrest her wife, Naria Jenna Whitaker,33.

At that time Whitaker shot and killed herself.

Buzzard later admitted to killing and dismembering Zimmerman’s body.

She claims he ruined her marriage.

She was arrested and charged with 18 criminal counts, including two counts of murder, four counts of evidence tampering, felony abuse of a corpse, and felony assault.
