A tour bus carrying about 45 high school students back to Texas from a Walt Disney trip crashed into a ravine.
Reports say the bus crashed around 5:45 am Tuesday morning on I-10 near the Alabama- Florida line. Sheriff Hoss Mack the lead investigator over the case says the bus ran off the road into the ravine killing one and leaving several critically injured.
The students were all transferred to ten different hospitals within Baldwin and Escambia County. They also had several helicopters help transport the injured to the different hospitals.
Sheriffs have shut down highway I-10 in both directions and expects the interstate to remain closed until noon.
