A fan is being clowned after she allegedly found a duffel bag containing $300,000 that belonged to rapper Nelly.
Luckily for him, the unknown woman returned it with everything still intact. The woman’s good deed didn’t go unnoticed, of course. As a reward, she was given $100.
Many of her friends made fun of her for doing the right thing and receiving such a lousy reward.
A video recording of the aftermath was posted online by one of her friends. In the video they are dogging her for her actions and in utter shock at how she was “thanked” by Nelly.
“We up here at the bowling alley, she found a bag,” said the man recording.
“And guess what she do? She gave it back.”
“What they did? Show me what they did.”
“They gave her $100 for giving him back $300,000!”
Nelly responded to the backlash by saying he didn’t lose any duffle bags or money. He also commented underneath an Instagram post from the Neighborhood Talk saying, “Cap…SUUUUUUUPPPPPEEEEEERRRR CAAPPP,” I didn’t lose shit idk what bag or who’s bag they talkin bout but it dam show wasn’t mine.”
