Dallas Man Given 5 Years Probation For Deadly Car Shooting

Prometheaus Washington, from Dallas, has taken a plea deal after a fatal shooting occurred in Longview in 2020.

A 29-year-old from Dallas, Staton Rodgers Holder, was shot and died after Washington shot a gun inside of a car.

Washington pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide.

Subsequent to that, Washington was given two years in prison. His lawyer was able to agree on a plea deal with the district attorney, and Washington got a suspended sentence for five years probation.
