Lancaster ISD Back To Virtual Learning After Winter Break

3.3kviews

Lancaster ISD will be going back to virtual learning after winter break.

The district alerted parents by email and social media. One of the key factors included in the message was, “Dallas county’s covid-19 risk level is listed as red, local hospitals have a limited number of beds, and several individuals within our community have unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19.”

Many of the parents have responded positively and support the District’s decision. However, there are a few challenges that could affect students greatly. With the District’s change being so last minute, many parents are still not aware. LISD will also have to transition everyone and make sure families are able to connect remotely again.
