Brittany Wilson, 32, was arrested on Christmas Eve for stabbing and killing her boyfriend.
Wilson was standing outside of her boyfriend’s home in Missouri covered in blood on Friday night. When officers arrived to the scene they noticed a sword on the lawn.
Wilson was questioned outside by law enforcement while investigators went inside. That’s when they discovered the body of a deceased male in the basement. Police said his body had a fresh stab wound on it.
Wilson was arrested and taken to the Cape Girardeau municipal jail. She was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
She remains in jail and has a $2 million bond.
