A woman was killed after shots were fired into her Fort Worth home early Friday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 6900 block of Sunflower Circle N, around 2:35am.
Upon arrival they found a woman inside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. She was transported to JPS Hospital where she died shortly after.
Police believe the shots came from outside the home and struck the victim. No suspect(s) have been arrested.
The motive behind the shooting is unclear at this time. This investigation remains ongoing.
